Godot Wild Jam #85 Submission: Leaf Burner
Theme: Expansion
Wildcards: Autumnal, Single Location, Limited Palette

Collect as many leaves as you can and toss them into the burning barrels on both sides. Avoid enemy attacks and keep the fire fed. The leaves never stop falling, and the burning never ends. Speed boosts appear every 30 seconds to help you keep up.

Controls

  • Arrow Keys: Move (← ↑ →)
  • Space Bar: Throw leaves
  • Alternative: A, W, D to move, Enter to throw

Tips: Slap that space bar quickly and repeatedly. Use multi-jumps.

Theme & Wildcard Interpretation

  • Expansion: Inspired by idle/clicker games like Cookie Clicker (minus the idling.) The action ramps up endlessly as the leaf piles grow.
  • Autumnal: Falling leaves, seasonal tone.
  • Single Location: One enclosure where everything happens.
  • Limited Palette: Loosely interpreted with warm hues, low key pixelated art.
